This exclusive G G Allin T-Shirt commemorates the notorious punk rock icon and leader of the Murder Junkies.

Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (August 29, 1956 – June 28, 1993) was an American punk rock singer who was known for his transgressive live performances. His stage antics often included self-mutilation, defecating on stage, and assaulting audience members, for which he was arrested and imprisoned on multiple occasions.

Allin began playing music at a young age, initially drawn to the drums and later taking up singing. He was influenced by a wide range of artists, including Iggy Pop, the MC5, Alice Cooper, and the Rolling Stones.

In the late 1970s, Allin formed his first band, the Jabbers, and began performing in the New England punk rock scene. He quickly gained a reputation for his wild and unpredictable live shows, which often featured self-mutilation, defecation on stage, and violent attacks on audience members.

Allin's transgressive behavior was often met with disgust and outrage, but he also attracted a devoted following of fans who were drawn to his raw energy and uncompromising attitude. He released a number of albums throughout the 1980s, but his music was often overshadowed by his notoriety as a performer.

Allin died of a heroin overdose in 1993 at the age of 36. His death was met with mixed reactions, with some praising him as a punk rock icon and others condemning him as a degenerate and a criminal.

Allin's legacy is a complex and controversial one. He is undoubtedly one of the most extreme and transgressive figures in punk rock history, but his music and performances continue to influence artists and fans today.
