The Killer Prophet - John Linley Frazier T-Shirt is inspired by the infamous American mass murderer who killed five people in Santa Cruz County, California, in the 1970's.
Born on January 26, 1946, John Linley Frazier was a religious fanatic who obsessively studied the Bible. He believed the voice of God was telling him to commit homicides in order to prevent the environment from being destroyed, and that he was the John referred to in the New Testament’s Book of Revelation.
On October 19, 1970 Frazier fulfilled his self imposed prophesy by killing the family of wealthy ophthalmologist Victor Ohta and his medical secretary. He shot each of the five before moving their bodies into the homes swimming pool.
Convicted of five counts of murder, Frazier was sentenced to death in 1971, but was spared execution when the death penalty was abolished in California in 1972. Frazier committed suicide in his prison cell in 2009.
